About the event

An epic journey of love, loss, bravery and faith.

Rolling Thunder Vietnam unites personal stories of young Vietnam War soldiers with classic songs of the era. This uplifting theatrical concert draws audiences inside the combat, love letters, protest and homecoming of a generation on the brink of change. The show stars a brilliant young cast and some of Australia’s finest rock musicians.

Under the music direction of Chong Lim (the John Farnham Band) you’ll hear some of the great 60s and 70s rock classics, including 'Magic Carpet Ride', 'Fortunate Son', 'All Along the Watchtower', 'The Real Thing', 'Run Through The Jungle', 'The Letter', 'War', 'Born To Be Wild', 'Black Magic Woman' and 'Bridge Over Troubled Water'.

Written by Bryce Hallett and directed by David Berthold, Rolling Thunder Vietnam powerfully evokes raw and emotional stories of love, courage, loss and faith on the battlefront and at home.
